Instead
of a normal Ethernet card, each user has a Wireless LAN card in
their system (laptop, palmtop or desktop). The card communicates
with an Access Point, also fitted with a same card. The Access Point
is connected to the wired network, giving users access to data on
the server or to network printers, just as if they had a cable connection.
It's that simple.
